Why shell out for the carbon Lurcher, when the Scandal is less than half price and only a few hundred grams lighter....i'm not convinced there is enough carbon magic in it?
Asking as I intend to buy a race/trail 29er in the new year.

Totally agree there. My Scandal 29er 16” frame came in at 1716g so 166g heavier than the Lurcher's claimed weight...well that's in to 'take a pre-ride dump' terrority. Failing that, the money saved will get you a nice set of wheels or other bits that'll save you the 166g.
