On One Rujo - thoughts/sizing?

The ever changing Planet-X sale has moved on to the Rujo which looks to meet my requirements and Kesteven has been glowing about it. I'm not overly fussed by weight, it's more about how it rides.

Few q's:

Anyone got one and how's it been?

Also on sizing - I'm a smidge over 6ft but don't like low/stretched riding positions. I think I'd rather be at the top end of a Large than bottom of an Extra-Large, if that makes sense?

SRAM Force 1 - all good? I'm not really up to speed on road groupsets but is 11 speed getting on a bit in terms of release/support cycles?

11 speed will be supported for a long while yet.

They look nice and have great clearance but the head tubes are quite short and they are relatively long for their size IMO so they are more into the long and racy position unless you're running a short stem pointing up.ย  And then they just look ugly.

384mm reach with 566mm stack is fairly racey even for a road bike, my Cube is 388/610, at the opposite end of the spectrum.

They look cool IMO, especially compared against some of the overbuilt, thick tubed steel options that tend to be aimed at bikepackers.

Long top tubes aren't "racey" (look at the TDF, most riders are sizing down and even 130mm stems are disappearing in favor of 100-110), long top tubes and slacker angles mean shorter stems to keep lively handling whilst letting the wheelbase grow a bit. And the flip side of an upturned stem and some headset spacers is gnad clearance over the top tube.

11speed is now old hat, but TBH I can't see it being something worth considering for an upgrade anytime soon. Roadies and road bikes are far more conservative when it comes to obsoleting things than MTBers. It tends to be a question of will 12s make me faster than my existing 8/9/10speed, nope, won't bother then. I'm still running 10s, and my only gripe is no one has ever made a good quality 11-28 cassette, it's always been microshift or shimano did 11-23, 11-25 or 14-27. So if you're happy with the range/spacing then it'll probably be easy enough to get consumables for long into the future.
