I'm 5'9" & mine was a perfect fit (for me), with a 50mm stem.
I'd say no, go for the 20".

I'm 6'1" and have always ridden medium On-one bikes - they tend to have very long top tubes and get a bit 'reachy' for me in larger sizes.
I'm 6'1 and ride an 18" Scandal, I like it but I'd say I'm just on the cusp of needing a large.
6' here, 33.5 inside leg. Had an 18" 26er, 90mm stem, thomson layback and always felt too small. 29er 19.5 inbred is spot on tho 😀
