Yes it is Monday, though it is very early on the Monday.

Perhaps a little patience is in order.

Perhaps someone on the classifieds has 'a life' for sale.

;o)

Its Monday now so the word should be starting to get out.

"The word" will get out when me and Dave finish our finely crafted press release in our usual style.

Here's one from back in the day:-

[i]Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2000 21:06:23 +0000
Subject: PRO VISION TO SPONSOR CONDORS in 2001
From: "DAVE LOUGHRAN " <planetx@globalnet.co.uk>
X-RCPT-TO: <brant@on-one.co.uk>

PRO VISION SPONSOR CONDORS !!!!!!

When Steve Joughin recently told his marketing consultant Brant Richards of Shedfire marketing that he wanted to sponsor "Condors" in the year 2001 Richards immediately set the wheels in motion.

So when Joughin received his letter from Chester Zoo congratulating him on his support of the condor enclosure there he was somewhat mystified - Joughin was of course hoping to sponsor the succesful London cycle dealer Condor cycles.

Shedfire also handle the business of etailer on-one who recently launched their innovative sponsorship program - after being inundated by dirt jumpers requesting sponsorship, Richards instead sponsored the monkey enclosure at Chester Zoo.

Joughin said ; "I know I am a useless at this marketing thing, but that Richards doesn't know his arse from his elbow "

What? Again? I thought I'd "sold out" at various stages of my career so far.

Is there any snow in Todmorden?

There is, yes.

Just spent the morning driving to Mytholmroyd and back. My daughter is meant to be doing work experience at a local school. She'd forgotten some form or other, so we turned about about a mile from it, and drove back home. Turned around again to drive back, only to get there and find the school was closed all along!

1.5hrs driving - I can nearly get to Portsmouth in that time!

Yes Brant has been creating some free publicity by saying way too far in advance there will be a non specific announcement today which as you can see has created panic and speculation on the internet.

Yup. Brants joined Village People

Where can you find pleasure
Search the world for TI treasure
Learn science, OnOne-ology
Where can you begin
To make your dreams all come true
On-one the land or on-one the sea
Where can you learn to fly
Play in sports or skindive
Study Onone-ography
Sign up for the big band
Or sit in the grand stand
When your team and others meet

Inbred the Navy
Yes, you can sail the seven seas
Inbred the Navy
Yes, you can put your mind at ease
Inbred the Navy
Come on now people make a stand
Inbred the Navy
Can't you see we need a hand
Inbred the Navy
Come on protect the motherland
Inbred the Navy
Come on and join your fellow man
Inbred the Navy
Come on people and make a stand
Inbred the Navy
Inbred the Navy

They want you
They want you
They want you as a new recruit

You've met mrshora then?

I reckon its a funding/partial sellout or merger with a bigger company giving brant more freedom to run the company and design frames (whilst they run the infrastructure-side)

I've just read on bikebiz that on one have decided to pull the plug on bike production as due to ever increasing production costs they can no longer sell bikes for a reasonable cost. So looks like it's the end for On-One/Planet X.
