Evening All,

the time has come to replace the chain rings on my Fatty. It is the X5 double chainring 22t and 34t. Does anybody know what chainings I need?

I cant find the info anywhere for sale. Its probably obvious and im being dense :).

Thanks

Anything 104bcd for the large one & I think 96bcd the small, not 100% sure on the latter

Cheers Rocketdog!

Any more suggestions for the smaller ring?

I'd honestly suggest measuring. SRAM can be willfully obscure with their ring sizes. My old x5 had a 120 bcd outer but no idea about inner.

Bump for the daytime crew - I have established the bigger ring size thanks to the above people.

Does anybody know what the smaller ring size?

Cheers

They're the standard sizes (104/96, I'm pretty sure, took mine off to go 1x10 so they're in a box somewhere).

22t 64bcd and 36t 104bcd

The big ring actually has the specs printed on it and Google tells you the rest.

50miles or so?

I'll have a look and see if I've still got them.

104mm Deore steel middle ring doesn't fit out of the box- the tabs carrying the drill holes are just slightly too large. Easily burred off though for a very cheap and durable option.
