Does anyone know how a Vivid 5.1 from 2010 (LSC HSR and LSR adjustments) compares to something really basic like a Deluxe Coil from this year that only has rebound adjustment.
I know the 5.1 is older but does it hold up as well at the Cane Creek DB from around that time?
someone has given me one in the right length/stroke and I just wondered if it was worth the effort to strip it down and service it or not.
depends on the bike tbh
on my bike LSC makes a big difference so wouldnt want to go without something, the other option is to maybe have a custom tune to make sure it matches your bike
