I've got some old (2002?) Marzocchi Z1 bombers which I use on my HT - they work pretty well. However I've noticed that the left hand lower has become unbonded (?) from the arch piece (these are the pre-one piece forks), it's turning when you release the qr and oil is coming out - I've not drained them and checked but has anyone had any success with re-bonding these? I'm wondering whether a decent amount of araldite would do the trick.

So am I asking for trouble or what?

Did you take your brake bosses out? If so, put them back in.

i did (ages ago) is that all that holds them together? The right hand lower seems solid enough.

Yes, if you remove your brake bosses then your forks will fall apart.

LOL! I did exactly this to some Junior Ts once, so was going to post the same question.

If that's no good don't throw them out, keep them by the bed in case someone enters your house and needs 'owned'.
