Remind me what this probably means, oil is leaking out when the bike is upside down? Guess I'll need to replace the seals in the upper assembly, is this easy to do (do "seals" = o-rings or something more)?

Just seals, a bit of dissasembly needed but not too bad have a look at the tech guide below, it's an 08 model one but they have following years too:
