Cheeky morning ride just the way to start the day

Glorious commute in, frosty when I set off, blazing ice cream headache coming down the hill out the village, soon warmed up, loads of cyclists commuting into Nottingham, including a lost soul on his first cycle commute in 10 years who was list trying to cut through the back streets to the towpath. Turns out he works at the same place I do and so we pootled in together, partly because he and his bike weren't in great shape and I was worried which might collapse first!

Bit later took the little one for a pootle around Hicks Lodge on his bike, stopped for cake and ice cream in the cafe after, as days go it was pretty good!!
