A classic one and one in which when I search I get multiple possible solutions.

Basically I'm gettign numb feet while riding and it's doing my nut.

Currently my cleats are positioned on the ball of my foot while in the usual position, the standard position.

I do quite big miles, 10-20hrs a week and take part in longer endurance races. The issue is alot less severe when off-roading or if its warm. I never used to have issues with numb feet, its just been over the last few years, I haven't really changed positions or habits in that time and my feet are as still flat as they've always been.

Bit of a loss to be honest.

Any constructive input in what I can do is much appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚

Naff

Extra/thicker socks making your foot tighter in the shoe, reducing circulation?

I only tend to get this if as above I wear too thick socks or do my shoes up too tightly.

Barring seriously cold weather, cold feet is mostly due to restricted circulation - poorly fitting shoes, shoes fastened too tight, socks too thick etc ... anything that causes the your toes to be squashed/squeezed will stop blood circulating properly resulting in getting unnecessarily cold.

Bear in mind that your feet will swell a bit when they get warm, so don't start out with socks/shoes fitting too snugly.
