Hello all! I'm wondering about trading in my nukeproof for a banshee spitfire just for a change more than anything. Has anybody ridden both and can compare and contrast? I appreciate the mega is more comparable to the rune but the spitfire would be built fairly burly as it won't be my everyday peddling bike.

Nirvana cycles in Wescott recently ran a Banshee demo day (see their Facebook) they also used to sell Nukeproofs and have had them as demos as well as many customers who bought them. So try asking on their Facebook page or give them a call. If they give you good advice buy from them
I'd think the Mega TR would be more comparable to the Spitfire, while AM is closer to the Rune - at least theoretically.
Actually the Spitfire's geometry is more like the AM (in slack it's slacker, lower and longer) and most run a 160mm fork.
I run a 160mm fork on my Mega TR. But alright, point taken.
