I was thinking about buying a set of Chromag Dagga pedals to get some more grip but it turns out the pins are the same thread size as my current Nukeproof horizons take. A set of pins is £15.
Riding around the garden the difference is huge. It's possible that this will be too much grip but let's see how it goes.

I put smaller pins in my DH horizons as had too much grip.

My previous pins were quite rounded and worn so that probably has something to do with it as well.
