Needing a new DUB bottom bracket soon and my 'go to' Hope don't do one. Nukeproof have one with 2 yr warranty. Anyone got one/used one?

I've got a bsa 30mm one. Only arrived this week and yet to fit, but a very lovely looking thing. Guaranteed to be better than the RaceFace it's replacing!

does anyone know what tool these use to fit the bb?

is it the same fitting across all of the range off bb types or different?

wouldnt bother with hope, my cranks were shite, and the bb was notchy after about 3 rides in

more tempted to try this nukeproof one than buy a hope one again

It's a regular Shimano fitting tool for the BSA 30mm so I'm told, so would assume it is the same across the board.

Can verify maybe on Sunday if I get a chance to fit it

The SRAM ones need a different tool. Ordered the Nukeproof so will see. The Hope convertors - I use on GPX BB on gravel bike, but £15 on top of the price of the Hope is a bit speedy just now. Well timed £10 voucher from you-know-who sealed the deal - £43. Cheers all and will add review.
@oscillate wildly - I've got Hope BB still running after 4 years, one on it's third frame, and still sweet.

id need a shimano 24mm nukeproof, so is that likely to use a shimano bb tool?

they should really list what tools needed, i cant see it mentinoed anywhere which is annoying

yeh - ive just not had good experiences of hope over the last few years, think stuff seems old when its released and just dont move forward, (ie brakes etc), that said maybe i got unlucky on the BB who knows, but a dub sram one felt better after 6 months thick winter use than that did in a month in summer!

I posed the question on CRC against the 30mm version  https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/nukeproof-bottom-bracket-30mm/rp-prod187148 but it would be better if it was stated in the Description.

Well that's annoying. The BSA 30mm bracket does not fit with a Park Tool BBT-9, Shimano TL-FC32 or the Race Face tool.

And I'm sure they have updated their answer on the CRC product page linked above as they have added a link to a random do it all tool.

I now have the bottom bracket, but no way of fitting it.

lol - bloody helpful bunch eh?!

annoying as hell, at least list the bloody tool each bb needs when making them, absolutely crazy to think everyone out there has every single type of conceivable bb tool just lying around!!

put me off buying one just because of that now

The DUB ones use Park Tool BBT-79 which 12 notch 46mm OD so a fairly common tool if you have DUB cranks as the tool fits every other notch on the BB.
