Going to Twisted Oaks this weekend. Taking the small person with me so most likely just the XC route. Do I need mud tyres giving all the rain we've had?

You won't need mud tyres. It's built mostly on a sandy base so drains really well. There'll obviously be some sloppy areas on the XC loop, but after the weather the country has had, there's not many places that won't have sloppy areas!
It's a great, progressive place, and you and your small person will love it! Enjoy!

Been a pretty sunny day to day in the South east so hopefully it has dried out a fair bit
