i considering the new mega frame but i only have 140mm forks for my build. lower bb and steeper head angle works for me ,but will the travel feel unbalanced?
Dunno! Early days yet, I don't think it'll do the handling any favours, depends on the headset. You'll need an external lower cup for 44mm headtube to give a lift. I sold my Rev 140s and bought these:

BUT, in USA, so 50 quid shipping, 65 quid import duty. Arrives within a week tho.
Also needed new 1.5 stem and new headset but if you're buying a Mega, it has 44mm deep-cup head tube so you'll have to get a new headset anyway.
If you can flog your 140s for enough, then get some longer forks. There may be some bargain Marzocchis around, I saw some 180mm 66s for 200 quid new.
