if i want to put non UST tyres on my 819's and still run them tubeless, do i need to use rimstrips? The Stans site seems to say they'll burp easily if not, but just wondered what peoples experiences are.
If i need rimstrips should i go for the standard or olympic ones?

I ran some Spesh 2.3s on my 819s, no rim strip, just added a glug of Stan's.
I ran them for a few months before fitting some proper UST tyres for the added security of thicker side walls.
Don't recall them burping though!
In my experience yes - couldn't get a non-tubeless big earl 2.5 to inflate without a rim strip. I just used a 20" Scwhalbe BMX tube though a la http://www.tubelesswheels.com/tubeless.html
