I'm thinking the Kinesis range in particular, whats the OLD?

I'm going to stick gears on my Genesis Day 0 until I can afford a proper geared frame, but don't want to sink money into a posh rear wheel if I can't use it later.

130 is normal but it does vary

CX frames tend to be 135mm in my experience.

I'd be very surprised if any cx frame that takes discs was 130, I don't think there are many disc hubs/wheels in that size...

130mm standard. Disc compatible might be 130 or 135.

Ah but of course I won't be fitting discs, will I? 😉

What you say makes sense though, think I'll need to ping a few emails off, no-one seems to state these dimensions on their websites..

The Kenesis Crosslight complete builds come with Shimano R500 wheels which are 130mm. So I have learnt something today.
