I've been using these nonslip socks in my flat pedal shoes for a bit now and they are great.

i’m not sure if you’re serious, but i was finding my summer weight socks very slippy on my recent rides.
I was having the same issue. My feet would slide in my shoes a little, which sometimes lead to a foot slipping off a pedal.
These socks have little rubberised squares on the inside and the outside of the soul. Your bare foot grips the sock, and the sock grips the inside of the shoe.
I also tried some cheaper versions of the same thing from amazon but the little rubber squares where only on the outside which didn’t work as well.

I have chunky feet so always end up with shoes with too much room around the toe box which results in my foot sliding forward in my fivetens, I hate having my laces too tight to prevent this so these socks might be the answer, it's only a problem when riding flats in my case, so definitely a bit of a niche issue.
