My wife is getting intrested in riding again, we started riding together about 4 years ago however I progressed to loving rocks and she lost intrest.
Now she's intrested in riding again but towing our young un behind us on Canal footpaths, TPT, Tissington trail, loops of Ladybower, some quite roads etc.
So I'm looking for a new bike for her. She will NOT be progressing to riding on rocks or real MTB stuff so I'm thinking a hybrid bike with 700c wheels maybe a good choice ? Do you think it would be ? Whats out there that would suite that kind of riding sub £500, The Spesh Crosstrail looked OK.
Thanks in advance for advice.

The Felt is nice, is something like that comfy on lightly bumpy tracks ?
Also, should you go for something with big wheels like that ? will she be able to cover larger distances more easly ? I guess I'm looking at either a 26" wheeled bike or larger wheels... and if you go larger then its no suspension forks ?
