My roadie uses 10sp DA groupset.
Chain wear is approaching 0.75 so i started looking for a DA 10sp chain. It doesnt seem like its made any more. Ive always been happy with them, but now need to buy an alternative.
Can i use a DA 11sp chain? Is there anything else i should consider?
Any help and experiences greatly received. (Setretly i know the bike is now ruined and i need to replace it with something fabulous and new, but cant do that at mo)
I’ve never run a dura ace chain since the original wore out. Always use kmc, any one of the lightweight ones. Gold if your feeling particularly bling

Yes. Internal width of the links is unchanged.
Checked my stash, had an 11-speed DA in there but nothing 10-speed, I have an unused 10-speed XT chain going if that would help.

Interesting I just assumed 11sp used thinner sprockets and chain rings.
Just used by last DA 10sp chain this year....
I run 10 speed cranksets and chainrings with 11 speed all time.
The external width is thinner and the 11 speed spacing is narrower, But the sprockets and chainring teeth are the same width.
I could be wrong but I thought KMC manufactured the chains for Shimano - maybe have a look at one of their high end 10 spd chains?
I run KMC X10 EL silver - I seem to get more mileage out of these than any chain I've ever run before...on any bike...so can recommend. Possibly minutely fractionally noisier, but no big concern.
Thanks all. I will search out the 11sp Da and KMC SL options.
As ever im grateful for your input

I've got a box of XTR/DA 9sp chains still.....
