[Closed] Niner SIR9 singlespeed built bike?

Set my heart on a Niner steel frame singlespeed. Do you think I can find one? Not for love or money. Would consider new or second hand. Been watching this site plus eBay for ages. Evans do the frame built up as a 3x9 bike - what a waste of cogs...
Not that keen on building one myself as it would be ****** expensive.
Am I missing something?
Niner should wake up and supply this gap in the market...
Any thoughts?

Just checked the website again - he does Charge, Salsa and Surly, but NOT Niner...

I saw this as well. But it's a risk - it could be damaged. EBB may be scewed. And I want to avoid the build with tons of expensive individually purchased components!

That's just the frame. I could get that from Stif, Chevin and Suffolkcycles. I want a built SS bike!

???
I bought my SIR.9 from Charliethebikemonger 2 weeks ago. I'm sure he would put you a build together. One of the most nicest people I've come across in biking.
Looking forward to putting on the matching steel forks . It really is a brilliant ride.

Mine, but a few short hours ago...

Can he buy the components cheaper than we can? i.e. is it more economical to ask him for a build than build yourself?
Funny - he doesn't advertise this on his website. I'll have to give him a call ๐Ÿ˜€

For the record, he won't build you a lovely guy.

Although it depends how much you offer, I suppose...

depending on where you are in the country we're in edinburgh and a niner dealer and could do you a build option on the sir 9 and we're just building one now as a rigid SS for someone.

if you're down south Charlie is the man and if you're in the middle I'm sure Stiff would sort you

The EBB and BB threads are perfect on the frame (ebay link above).
How do I know?
It's mine.

A while back I got an old Scandal of Tazzy (SS only - no hanger).
Love it to bits.

I had no need for two SS frames and decided to use the Niner geared for a while. I have now (after a couple of years) concluded that 26 inch wheels suit me / local trails; better for general riding with gears.
SS are always better in my opinion with 29 inch wheels.
I only need one SS, hence the sale of the Niner.

[i]I suppose I should have tried thes classified adds first but there was a free listing day the other weekend.
