Given all the stuff they offloaded to Pauls Cycles recently its not a surprise to see a formal announcement.

Best bike I've ever owned is my Niner RLT, fits me like a glove. Unfortunately unsurprising that they are on their way out, a small brand who haven't really brought anything new to the market and without the premium brand status either, factor in the reluctance to buy after the last bankruptcy and buyout and the writing was clearly on the wall.

Don't think I've ever seen on in the wild. Always seemed a bit fugly on the reviews I'd seen.

Loved my Niner EMD until it was stolen. 29er was only just a thing. Wheels and tyres were lacking in choice, 18bikes made some for me.

The Reba was dreadfully twisty BTW, not great..

A shame this, always sucks when a brand that champions a change gets left behind once it actually takes off.

Maybe they'll relaunch as Twoer

My wife loves her RLT Steel. They are a pretty niche brand though

Shame 😞 although the only Niner I actually owned was an emd which I didn't get on with...
