This post makes me smile.
I'd love to be reunited with my mountain bike from this era. It was some Raleigh USA thing. Rode it loads - did far more tech trails etc on it than I've ever been able to manage since on supposedly more capable machinery.
Even did a man v bike race up over Wyming Brook and Stanage Edge and back.
Not my bike but it was like this. Got nicked from a student house in Leeds when I was studenting there... 
This is great! (Well done on not moving house - or posing in front of someone else’s this time!)
