Fisher Dave!! Sorry i missed your call today. Maybe if you borrow the Hi-Fi i can fudge it and come riding for the day ๐Ÿ˜€

BTW i love my Paragon and i had a Rig,no problem climbing and descending and the front is low as Ton said but i think that works. Your 69er has a low front end as well... Fisher Hifi 29er is darn good fun ๐Ÿ˜€

But mmm Niner does look good

I loved my Niner - rode very very well.

Tried a GF (HT) 29er and Kona 29er and neither managed to feel as nice - the niner managed to be reet nippy without being too twitchy... The GF was a size too small though..

Own a RIP 9 & SIR 9 and have recently demoed a JET

I love the Niners I own and have been riding them for the past 2 years. They have gone through quite a few changes set-up wise, mainly to aliviate twitchy steering.

Niner developed their bikes with a 72deg HA. This was based on a 38mm Reba fork offset. The industry standard has moved across to 44, 48 offset, but Niner have stayed put. I have gone over to a Reba Team with 48?mm os. I've tried this on both bikes and have settled on a 50mm (!) stem length. this has stopped ALL twitch.

I demoed the JET at Cannock Chase a few weeks ago and while I thought it characteristically Niner, it was very nervy when pointed downwards. I'm sure this could be brought into line with personal set-up adjustments.

I would say Niner all the way. I can't speak for the HI-Fi, but with reports of it prone to breakage and alot of flex etc etc whereas the JET has none of those complaints, in fact has pretty much universal praise.

Niner are a very progressive company with unique innovative designs such as their CVA suspension, Ecc BB's, bike designs from the ground up for 'big wheels', it goes on
