One for the committee - I've recently change my car and now my much trusted bike (Thule ClipOn 9103) doesn't fit my new car (08 Vauxhall Astra 5dr) gutted, so would very much appreciate you views and comments or recommendations on what new rack I should get.

Thule is best for quality, so it depends where you want to put your bike? I prefer roof mounted, so roof bars and 591 pro-rides seem to be the rack of choice. Behind the car is better for fuel consumption but the bike gets more covered in cr4p. Suspect your answers on here will be sparse, since this question gets asked quite a lot! Incidentally, buy online (roofracks.co.uk are quite good, but there are others), as it's WAY cheaper
