Hi all,

Current bike is a Large(est) 2014 Boardman team FS, and im 6ft1. I feel a little large on the bike. I feel a little front heavy on the bike when going downhill which makes me nervous. However, i feel as if i try and move my position any further back (Shorter Stem) on the bike i will really struggle to keep the front down on steep climbs.

Anyway, so far i have changed the bars to about 6cm wider with more of a rise on them, I feel a little comfier, but no less nervous. I just get the feeling i could maybe do with a bigger frame or just fitting properly to a bike by someone who knows what they are talking about.

So my real question after all that blurb, is whether anyone can recommend a decent shop for MTB who takes pride in selling the right bike for the person? I'm in Northwich Cheshire, so anything within not a million miles from there would be great.

Many thanks all ๐Ÿ™‚

Got to say that sounds more like a skillz issue than bike fit issue ๐Ÿ˜•

Yeah skills course could be of use, also could be fork or suspension setup.

really? I'm def not an overly skilled rider, but what would you say i'm lacking in skills that would make a bike feel too small for me?

Also, any recommended courses anywhere. I'm in Northwich Cheshire. Llandegla skills any good?
Cheers
