Hi Guys, I'm new to MTB and have just bought a second hand GT Avalanche 1.0, I live in the Teesside area and was wondering if there where any good tracks for a novice like me???

Hamsterley Forest. It's bit of a trek from Teesside, but lost of good trails suitable for all levels.
There's the Hamsterley Riders Facebook page, lots of people on there from Teesside too. Sure someone who help you out with a lift and a bit of an acquaint ride around the routes suitable for you.
