Hi.. Yes me.. I have a 2009 trek 6 series in which i want to upgrade the QR skewers front and back..
Are they a standard size or is there various sizes.. If so what size do i need before i dismantle my bike and not be able to put it back together again!!

90% of Qr's will be the same.
you would know if you had the 10% other size.
Out of interest, why upgrade the skewers?

Ah, OK! Gotcha.
You can get just a single skewer in some cases. Front or rear?
Also, if you're not worried, many LBS will have a box of skewers you might be able to have a rummage in for a bargain, especially in cities where many customers will have replaced their stock skewers with Pitloks or the like.
