Thinking about going tubeless when I swap to my new frame.
What would I need to run tubeless on my current wheels (mavic ex721s)?
Also anybody recommend some fast rolling xc ish tyres. Was thinking maxxis ignitor or continental x-king but open to suggestions. Do they HAVE to be UST for tubeless?

Stans notubes or similar kit will have everything you need. Tape, rim strip & sealant.
You don't need UST tyres to run tubeless, but some work better than others (easier to seal)
There's quite a few tips on the notubes website that'll probably answer most of your questions, but be prepared for lots of swearing & cursing the first time you try it!
Lol ok thanks. I'll go have a look at the no tubes site. Seems to be a minefield of information.
Plenty of sealant and patience as well as a big pump. I'm not sure I could cope with Stans without a home compressor even though I know that is a terrible thing to admit. When up and running they are great.
