Brakes will be crazily expensive.
BB sounds interesting. Better sealing and smoother running. Longer life and less draggy?

Interesting rotors - I wonder if road/cx discs have driven that to try and keep temperatures down.

BB is the same design as the Da9000 one.Tiny bearing!

Was anyone else expecting XTR to get electronic shifting like Di2 for 2014 - or maybe this is just a 'mid-release'?

By the way, those rotors are nothing new - Saint has them already, and going from the current one-piece caliper to a two piece design seems like a retrograde step.

To the casual eye (I'm sure they're faster, stronger, lighter) they look like a grey XT lever and caliper. Which can be bought for 200 bucks a pair if you shop around. What's new, really?

I'd say it was an update, as they have stuck with the M98x model numbers. M99x will be the next proper release.

If the 40gms per brake does not include the rotor that puts it in Formula R1 territory
