[#13536012]

We've had two new-to-them-NBD today,

Youngest got eldest's Vitus 20+ and is made up. He enjoys the hardest gears so I can see him starting p1 in August with hoy like thighs.

Eldest got the Early Rider Seeker 24 I've mentioned on multiple occasions. He was given a stack of parts. The idea was we would build it together as a father son experience, then hayfever hit and he refused all antihistamines, so I built it myself and he occasionally dropped by to check on progress .

PXL_20260621_173314384~2.jpgPXL_20260621_140549472~2.jpg I dropped some Tech3x2 on it, a nukelroof hzn carbon bar that was bought on the cheap and a deore 11speed shifter and XT mech.

Feel free to slate the garage base and bags of compost.

Very good. Eldest is about ready for a new bike but fancies full suss this time, like dad.

Nice try at diversion but I've still noticed his Crocs 😱

The crocs are a sore point with me, but he wears them going round the block as some battles just aren't worth fighting.

The difference between the Microshift 7 speed set up to deore /xt is massive. The deore is a much lighter trigger. Not so critical for grown ups but maybe more significant for 5 year olds
