I hadn't realised that road 3x8 Claris has a different pull ratio than MTB 3x8. Reusing our old XT 3sp/left shifter means a really stiff action.*
Running Claris 8sp 11-32 and Triple 52-30.
Will a 3sp Tiagra work, or do I need to stump up dafty money for Claris.
Or indeed, will an MTB triple front derailleur cope with 52-30.(edited)

The wiggle ones are 2x.
The bike24 ones would work, but the Tiagra at SJS are cheaper and a big step up in feel.
