Any recommendations?

I know nothing about road stuff but after a relatively light pair of wheels.

At that price Shimano wheels are excellent, something like the RS20, http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-rs20-clincher-wheelset/

Those wheels are Nearly half the price of wiggle at Merlin.

Maybe the ultegra's or mavic's at that price, or maybe hand built 105 hubs on open pro's?

Even better, I use the Ultegra's as training wheels on my cross bike and they are excellent
