Bought a new one to replace one I dented in a crash recently - just arrived in post.
It didn’t cost much admittedly and the dent is small so prob doesn’t affect it other than it’s noticeable and not what you’d expect from a brand new purchase. Box not dented so must have happened prior to sending out.
Is it wrong to be slightly miffed by this? Can only contact where I bought it by post (!) or e-chat Mon-Fri so can’t question them now. Snowflake or legitimate miffage?
Legitimate. You do not know how damaged it is. Return it.

I'd guesses it was planet x, they've been pushing the bargain carnac helmets hard so it was more than likely to be one of them.
Its probably due to the contact options narrowing it down a fair bit -

Cheap, no shop, only contact online and the fact I'm guessing they've shifted boat loads of them at that price.
Plus the fact if he's wrong he comes out looking good anyway, a PR guru

I've got 3 carnac helmets.. I think I've paid 60 quid in total for them. As someone who is happy to waste his money on expensive bike stuff usually, I just can't justify spending over a hundred quid on a lid when the px ones are so good.
