I'm after a new road bike, budget of around 1500 to 2000.
Anyone care to recommend anything? so far I've looked at the treks (rightly or wrongly I 'trust' their experience with CF frames) and cubes, which look good vfm.
cheers,
Canyon.
You'll struggle to find a madone 3.5 in stock.
If you 'trust' treks carbon frames then look at giant tcr/defy as they make the frames for trek.
You can't knock canyon for vfm.
Cannondale super six
Cube gtc agree
Canyon ultimate cf 8? I can't remember the exact model at 2k.
Good budget to play with but spend wise have a wander around the shops and see where you get the good advice.
What kind of frame performance orientated or comfort orientated.
Both different defy vs tcr advanced, Tarmac vs roubaix, super six vs synapse, the canyon cf look more perfance market.
Performance frame, young ebough (for the time being) not to need any of this comfort stuff ๐
I like the look of the Canyon.
I have a cube litening it's great but very stuff and fast.
The cube agree race thingy mbob gets good reviews.
Focus izahco or however you spell it won bike of the yer if you believe in all that nonsense.
The best way to buy a decent road bike without too much thought is to look back at pro bikes of the past couple of years and choose a groupset to match your price point.
I like Scott frames, but anything that's been raced at a high level tends to be good.
