New saddle? That looms like a Flite Ti. There's not many better saddles than one of those, if it is!

Id love to see how long that seat post is when its out of the frame ๐Ÿ˜ฏ can imagine it being down to the BB shell ๐Ÿ˜€

yep but its a bit tatty...the post will have to come down a bit for me..love the thumb shifters,that'll take me back

How much are these worth nowadays?
My Dad has 1996 Lava Dome in his garage with all original kit on it, probably only done 200 miles since new.

EDIT: Actually it might be a Cinder Cone, I'll check next time I visit. He never uses it

I was winning a bid for a lovely fire mountain from about 92 until, with a day of the auction left, the guy sold it :-(. Went for 200 quid in the end, mint condition. There was no buy it now option, so I was pretty peeved as had wanted one for ages.

As for the saddle...don't be getting rid of that!

I had a cinder cone with the splatter paint. I loved that bike. Got nicked

My Flites look like that after every wet ride. Rub in with some black scuffcoat shoe polish and it will soon spruce up. And wear black shorts.

Lovely looking bike.
