[Closed] New Rebas - lockout not working?

Just finished building up my new inbred and the new Reba Team forks don't seem to be doing anything different when the pushloc lever is pushed.

I own a set of Pikes and owned some Revs so I'm fairly sure I know what is meant to happen when the lever is flipped.

Any pointers?

empty upper right of oil and refill with exact volume from the manual?

EDIT: Does the lockout lever go "home" with a nice feel, or does it slowly bung up? if the latter the damping unit may need a strip. See here.

Floodgate setting? IIRC you could have the floodgate set so that the slightest bump still activates them,

Compression damping setting on the pushloc? Dail it in to take up the slack in the wire.

Had a fiddle with the floodgate - it was damn stiff and needed the use of an adjustable to free it with a little 'click' (couldn't move it with fingers alone). Works fine now!

Thought I had a problem with mine. This may help.

My Reba Race 100 with Pushloc always engaged when I pushed it but sometimes took 2-3 seconds to release when I pushed the button again. I was told that as mine has 'Blackbox' Motion Control, this is quite normal, as although it opens the floodgate, it needs a bit of a jolt to get it flowing.

Also, whereas standard Motion Control forks have an adjustable gate, the Blackbox ones are fixed, even though it shows the word 'GATE' on the top of something that looks like an adjuster.

Strange but (I'm assured) true.
