Hi All,
Out for a evening ride last night and the rear hub on my girlfriends Commencal Meta Girly decided to destroy itself.
The bike has "Jalco reinforced double wall for Commencal" rims and a cheap ass hub that isn't serviceable.
So do I just get a decent hub like Hope and have the wheel rebuilt on to it which is going to cost around £160 or for that money are we better spending a couple of quid extra and getting a new pre-built 142x12 Hope hoop?
What are you thoughts? If the later, any recommendations or good deals on at the moment?
Thanks in advance
Pre built.
Unless your building it yourself the pricing of the Hope Hoops makes it very difficult to source and build the wheel for the cost of one pre built.
If you shop around a few places are offering stans tape and valve included.
Which Hope Hoops for general Trail Centre riding?
Stans Flow? Arch? Crest? or Mavic's?
Looked into this a little and it seems Stans Flows on Pro 2 Evo's are the way to go.
Anyone know who has them in stock? everyone seems to have a 2 week lead on them. 🙁
