And perfect timing for my birthday Sunday.
The revamped Giant has been rebuilt throughout and comes in under 7kg.
the criteria was price/weight/stiffness not a single bolt was chosen for looks.
tempted to use it for Sundays reliability trial, but it's really for racing.
Aren't bikes great.

Edit, Can't believe I still get this giddy over bikes and at my age.

Only just had the call to say it's ready. Collecting from the builder tonight.
Anyway it's not bonny.

The frame is 2007.

Spent all night working out how to undo the wheels, they're not QR as such. They're also tubeless ready....no faffing.

TBH I've gone on reviews from the Giant test ride. They're basically DT Swiss though.
They also met my price/weight/stiffness criteria.
The bikes purely for racing in the LVRC so everything has been chosen for it's practicality. Though it will be interesting to try them tubeless. They're also wider than most wheels.
And I know it's only cosmetics, but the Deda is stunning in the flesh.

I expect the roads to have been swept.

Actually they're pretty good in my not so scientific test i.e they corner the sharpest on my weekly crit course. And they're quite bulbous.
