Hi all

Currently managed to get my hands on a new (to me) full suss 29er and want some forks for it.

My criteria is 120mm travel & bolt thru not QR.

I've not got loads to spend on them so Fox & Rock Shox are out which leaves me with either Manitou Tower's (Minutes) or Marzocchi 44 TST2's.

I currently have a set of 100mm Minutes on my hardtail & do really like them. However servicing is via authorised dealers only which means sending off to TFTuned and I'll need to get the spring changed for an X-Firm straight away, again this means sending off to TFTuned. The Marzocchi's can be serviced by my LBS but I'm not sure how good reliable they are as no one i know has them. They are slightly heavier and look more sturdy than the Towers but i really can't decide.

Anyone got any thoughts, ideas or advice to help me decide ?

Cheers

I've had the 44's.
They are a heavy fork for a 29er but feel very well put together and plush.
Ride very nice.

Not tried the minutes but would recommend the 44's for a budget 120mm 29 fork. (I imported mine sometime ago cause CRC only had tapered version)
