Thats looks seriously good value kit. Is it available yet?

I'm after brakes, chainset and derailleur and was looking at SLX, but might go deore instead as it looks to have picked up all the benefits of SLX - has anyone tried these brakes? And what is the model number - are these M615 or is that an older version?

Look like 615s to me. If they are, you should be able to pick them up for about £40 an end with a bit of hunting and patience. Halfords had a front one discounted to £32 the other day.

I'm happy with them - seem pretty powerful if they're set up right.

Have had a set for a while now. They are a little bit workmanlike in appearance - the handlebar clamps are huge - but otherwise they work very well
