I should be moving flat in London soon from North London (Stamford Hill) to West London (Turnham Green).
My current commute is all on the road, but my new route could well be along the Thames towards Victoria where I work.
I'm going to be using my Charge Plug, currently it has 700x28 Kenda Kwik Rollers, I know there's plenty of clearance in the frame/fork. So woudl something like conti speedking cross in 700x35 be a good tyre for riding along the paths of the Thames?
This is of course assuming you can ride form Turnham Green to Victoria mainly on the side of the Thames.
You can't ride along the Thames all the way. You'd be better off going down to Hammersmith Mall, under the bridge then out past Riverside Studios then past the River Cafe and the football club, then through the park and up towards Chelsea and the Kings Road before heading off into the backstreets to Victoria. Alternatively just head up through Hammersmith and into Kensington before turning down near the Albert Hall and working your way through the back streets again.
I thank you
It's a great tyre. I have even been time trialing on it recently. I also ride trail centres on it. Great for all surfaces.
