Thanks to everybody on here who sold me the kit for this, and a big thanks to the guys at www.cycle-world.co.uk who had the joyous task of putting it together (cheers/sorry Gav!) To my shame I forgot cakes.Planning on using it for getting to Munros in the middle of nowhere and a few of the old through routes up here.First impressions are that it does not feel as awkward as I thought it would be,and steers quicker than I thought it would.I will see if my view changes with a 12kg pack and a headwind in Glen Shiel tomorrow.

Critique of Garden also welcome.

You mean you paid someone to build a bike...must be rich.
Get the gardener onto that leaf problem pronto.

Valves and logos lined up nicely.
Those guys at Cycle World obviously know their stuff when it comes to building bikes.

Their 'forgetting' to put bar plugs in for you is clearly retribution for you forgetting to get them any cakes.

Nice looking bike though. 😀

South ridge is good but the two Munros between it and Kinloch Hourn are nasty bastards. Thing is, you need to lose all your height to do the second one. Grumble grumble....

On the south side of Loch Quoich is the back way into the beasts of Glen Dessary. Have you done those yet?

Lovely, my knees are beginning to protest at the long distances on the singlespeed CX so something like that ^ would be ideal.

Pictures of your ride up here please?
