I always fancied giving one of these a try.

Purists wont like it but the frame was free and the bits came from an already amassed pile of bits.

Nice, I still miss my '93 Zaskar LE was my most abused bike but still kept going.

Think I may have put Avid Arches on mine at some point too! They really were not anything special form memory load heavier but no better at braking.

Herb bed

Gentrification of the 'random pile of rocks with some soil in it'.

It's gone a bit upmarket since I first saw it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not normally a fan of GT bikes but that looks really great, a nice clean build, I got a soft spot for a polished frame. Did you repaint the Bombers?

And to think we all ran stems that long once...

How did we go down hills?

I really like that (asides from saddle and stem angle) - IRC Mythos XCs were great tyres IMO, shame they stopped making them..

Thank you for all the comments guys.

I would be lying if I said I hadn't at one point had a Hans Rey poster up on the wall ๐Ÿ˜†

135mm stem isn't long .....

This is long:

[img] [/img]

A mere 150mm ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Now all I need is some good weather to get out on her ..... no wait ....
