have got some SLX disc brakes that wore their pads out in a very muddy/gritty sherwood pines last week..
anyone got any reccomendations for new pads? (not superstar though ๐ )
and will xt/xtr pads fit? there dont seem to be any SLX specific pads!
like these nukeproof ones for example... anyone used these before?

XT and XTR do fit.
I use genuine Shimano, or Goodridge. Also used Superstar with no issues.
used goodridge before in some avids but theyre mucho expensive!
Nowt wrong with the octoporn pads imo.
sod it.. ill go for the octoporn cheapness as im skint!
I took a chance and went for some cheapies from ebay, found they bedded in quite quickly and have quite nice feel at the lever.
EDIT: useless without seller details: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/internationalbikediscbrakepads
I recently tried EBC ones as a replacement for avid. utter rubbish. the pads were wider than the original so hard to get in the caliper, there was less actual pad material so it didn't hold in the spring properly and just flapped about. back to avid for me
