That looks tiny! What size is it? I really want to scratch the decent hardtail itch with one of these ๐Ÿ™‚

Size medium, always nice getting a picture before it's touched the dirt as it will never look that good again ๐Ÿ™‚ will report back after the first ride.

Nice. Here's mine with the dirt. I like a mucky bird!

I stuck some 150/120 revs on and it climbs like a good one and descends steadily, it just really needs a dropper.

Here's my dirty bird, will be fitting a reverb this year, apart from that it's perfect.

Nice bikes, they look better dirty!! ๐Ÿ™‚ how do you embed those pics?? I've tried with dropbox link and onedrive links but doesn't seem to work?

It's got 140mm RS Rev RCT up front so hoping it will be good for most things. Great deal from Bird on the clearance section. Couldn't afford a dropper but it's on my list ๐Ÿ™‚ I've had them on previous two bikes and gutted I couldn't afford to put on this.

roll on the weekend.

My aeris is on the way and I can't wait. Then it might be time to upgrade the hardtail to a zero so I have a pair of birds to chose from!

Rear mudguard might be a bit wrong

but those mudhuggers do work well. I have one on my blue Zero (faster than yellow ones BTW) ๐Ÿ™‚

Funny this. I might be doing it the other way. HT first then Aeris :)currently MB free after selling my fs. I knew it was a big mistake!! Thought I could live without the dirt for a bit. It lasted 4 months!!!

Glad to hear those guards do the trick. Maybe 10 yrs ago I wouldn't have fitted the rear but I'm now older and a little bit more sensible!! I reckon the front ones actually look pretty good so cant see that coming off, rear will during the summer hopefully and for any Alps trips.

Agreed. It looks like a childs bike strangely. Liking the ones above.

This thread isn't helping!

I was pretty much decided on getting a CX bike to compliment my stumpy. The thing is, I have a spare 150mm Rev and a set of 27.5 wheels just knocking about....

Decisions...

It does look very petite! This is my new Zero AM (also medium) on the way to work yesterday:

Mmmnnnn..looking at the pic again it does look small doesn't it!! Ordered the Medium so hoping they haven't sent the wrong size ๐Ÿ™‚ probably just the angle etc.

Really looking forward to riding it a bit. I started on HT then went FS and now HT again so will see how soft I've gone!

It sounds like most people are more than happy with them and they seem like a great company to deal with. And the price was pretty good as well.

The Bird full build bikes really are difficult to ignore. I was at Swinley at the weekend for the first time, having just moved to within a few miles, and I was expecting to see hundred's of yellow AM's, but only saw a solitary yellow Aeris.

Its a medium alright. I think the horizontal lines in the backgound make it look stumpy and the mudguards make the wheels look small!

My one's the AM version which is longer than the original Zero, plus I'm running it with shorter forks and an angleset which makes it even longer.
