Blue is the colour. Bits include Hope top cap, c/ring bolts, Sinz grips, alu nuts, brake bolts.

Odd bits include homemade carbon seatpost (Syncros top section, post made from 22mm carbon handlebar).

Not weighed it yet but it's quick. Haro micro mini. 6yr old rider.

Apologies for misaligned crank arms.

It came with a std bmx seatpost+seat unit, which has a small, plasticky seat. I wanted a bigger, comfier seat so I needed a separate seat and seatpost.

The prblem was the seatpost is 22mm and there aren't that many around in black, so......

....I took an old Syncros top unit, and bonded it onto a 22mm carbon handlebar (Easton), with a couple of screws in for good measure. There's plenty of overlap and it works a treat. Takes my weight! and she's only 15kg or so (ish) so it's easily strong enough.

The whole bike must be maybe 14 lbs, which is significantly lighter than most kids bikes. Oh and I lowered the gearing, and fitted a dual pivot front brake.
