I love my pivot firebird 29 .it's 1.5 yes old now and I am starting to think about a new bike. I put slack set and o chain on the firebird and it feels rad .like the look of the high pivot bikes but dunno. Whatcha recommemd? Nedd to handle a wide range of riding
Deviate Highlander, either 140 or 150

Or wait for the 165mm version of it to be released.
I guess you'd want something quite different? What kind of stuff do you ride?
For something different how about a nice mullet? Canyon Spectral or Transition Patrol?
My riding style? North shore freeride, steep tech , whatever really
Banshee Titan?
Based on putting a slack set in the Firebird, how about the Transition Spire?
If i was going new it would be a Transition Patrol for me. Looks a fun bike. As it stands i'm building up an old alloy V1 Sentinel.
2nd vote for a Deviate Highlander. I've been riding my Highlander 150 since June and it is by far the most versatile and well balanced bike that I have ever owned.
I put a Fox 38 170mm fork on mine for added shredability and it's rad.
It handles everything from long rides in the mountains to uplifts and enduro racing.
Geometron G1
Privateer 161
Transition Patrol
That’s where I’d be looking for what you ride generally…
Norco Range (current high pivot version)
Like the look of that
