I've been riding full suss bikes since I seriously got into riding and have never been convinced by them. Decided to take the plunge and try a hardtail. Managed to get an 853 inbred off the classified and transferred most of the bits off my FS:

Took it out to the local woods today and was very impressed, the directness and involvement is so much better than FS, basically its more fun. Hopefully I wont change my mind when I try the rockier trails up Rivi.
