Heres my new Choc brown 456. The colour looks great in the daylight, almost like a bronze colour. Will be getting some mud/snow on the tyres tomorrow 🙂

Gotta cut that steerer down! It's spoiling the lines.

leave the steerer tube length as it is. When you flog the Pikes there will be a larger target audience of potential buyers.

Tyre logo's and wheel logos don't line up BTW.

I usually run an inch of spacers on top of the stem, but I reckon that steerer could easily loose a bit and still fit most frames 🙂

The steerer is staying like that until I get the position just right, I will then cut it to size.

nice build, the choccy brown seems to be v popular.
+1 on leaving the steerer. On One have always had silly-short headtubes so if you cut it down youll close your re sale market to just On One owners. I swapped parts from a medium coiler to my 456 and needed an extra 40mm of spacers on the same fork (80mm headtube on 456, 120mm on Kona).

tyre and rim logos either lined up or 90 degrees apart please, yours are bringing the OCD out in me 😆

Leave your tyres as they are, if only to piss off the tyres weirdos on here.

bugger. kicked up a thread for a steal hardtail between a cotic bfe and a 456. then somebody said about the ragley blue pig. i thought blue pig is really nice. But looking at the photo above. maybe the 456

either £145 frame and race face deus headset £28 for £173
or
blue pig for £260

on a budget £300 tops, oh what to do.....

Got out on it today. Rides as good as it looks. Had a bit gear skipping at the back, but I reckon a new cassette will sort that, as the rest of the chainset is brand new, apart from casstte which came of another bike.
Looking forward to taking it to Golspie on saturday!
